Cycle race bonanza for Ballinrobe on August 10th and 11th Ballinrobe 2 day stage race is only 2 weeks away, this year we have revised the 2 road stages to include new roads and climbs so freshening up the race. Marrey bikes Ballinrobe are again the event sponsors. Stage one now includes the Hors category climb of Lally’s mountain, we are using the longer less steep side and is sure to suit the climbers, it comes early in the stage so the descent of this climb will be fast and furious so real good chance for the descenders to show off their skills. Stage 2a; 7k Time trial is the same as other years Kilmaine to Ballinrobe. Stage 2b; is a new 12k lap to be completed 8 times, each lap passes through the town so should make for exciting racing. A4 riders have their own separate race on Sunday starting at 1.15pm.
