DEFENSIVE SHOOTING (BASIC) *NRA BASIC AND DEFENSIVE PISTOL (6ACE 275). This class will begin with teaching students the basics of pistol shooting and then move into training that will develop the students’ knowledge, skills and attitude to carry and use a concealed pistol ethically, responsibly and legally with confidence. There are two parts to this course. In part one a 22 caliber pistol and ammo will be furnished for each student. In part two, students are required to supply their own pistol (9mm, .38 or larger caliber is recommended), ammo (minimum of 300 rounds for your specific caliber is required, more would be better), mags/speed loaders and holster (should be a strong side holster that covers the trigger guard). No cross-draw or shoulder holsters will be allowed. 100% attendance is mandatory to receive your NRA Certification for this course.
