DID YOU KNOW: The Lenexa Police Department is a certified National Highway Transportation Safety Administration child safety seat inspection station. Through our affiliation with Safe Kids Worldwide we are able to provide certified inspectors to evaluate your child’s safety seat to ensure that it is properly installed, appropriate for the age and size of your child, and that it has not been the subject of any manufacturer’s recalls. Safety seat inspections are free of charge, take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete, and are conducted on Tuesdays, between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM and Thursdays, between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM by appointment only.
