DOG PARENTS IN MAINE, important heads up: yesterday, one of my friends ran quickly into a convenience store (a less than 3 minute trip) and had her dog locked in the car. When she came out, a man was standing there looking in the window. When asked, he said he was admiring the dog, and are you interested in selling it?. She said absolutely not. Something in her gut said this guy was more than just curious. She took down the license plate and filed a police report. The police called her today to follow up, because they have received several other complaints just like this. This happened around the Westbrook/Gorham line. This guy is likely a predator with bad intentions (dog fighting, etc)-NEVER, ever leave your dogs unattended in your car OR YOUR YARD for any amount of time!! And if you are approached, report it to the police!
