DRY SLOT is moving in! This means that the snow will cut off pretty quickly (map attached). As the system circulated, it creates a slot of nothing going on kind of like the eye of a hurricane... This means the worst of the snow will stay up north as I kept talking about. Fort Wayne area could see TEN inches of snow! Still could see 3 to 5 inches from Monticello and Logansport north. For those areas from Indy towards Lafayette and Crawfordsville, Frankfort, Lebanon and on east should be able to get by with only 1 to 3 inches of snow this morning! It will end fast...we might see one more little band closer to lunch, then done. The dry air slot will push the big snow north. We still have high winds all day with a wind warning and a wind chill warning is needed tonight. The heavy sleet will change to snow for most of us soon north of Indy.
