DUXBURY FIRE DEPARTMENT HELP WANTED For Career and Call Firefighter Positions Entrance Exam Applicants must be a Nationally and State Registered EMT or Paramedic or show proof they are currently enrolled in a program. Candidates must pass a comprehensive general knowledge exam, oral assessment, physical exam and a state mandated physical agility test as per the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Human Resource Division. Candidates will be subject to an extensive background check. Upon hiring, candidates are required to attend and successfully complete Firefighter I/II Certification Training. Application packets will be available between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM, Central Station, 668 Tremont Street. Exam fee $50.00, payable to an the independent testing company PCFRTA, a successful applicants will be placed on Selection List for two years.
