Daddy Owen Marks Ten Years in Music By Elly Gitau Monday July 1 2013 Award-winning gospel artiste, Daddy Owen, will be throwing a big bash to celebrate his 10th anniversary in the music industry early next year. According to the Mbona hitmaker, the celebrations will double up as a launching ceremony for his fifth album, which he is currently working on. He told Word Is: "I need to thank God for everything he has done to me, and I want to do it in a very different way. I have seen a lot throughout my 10 years in music, but God has been faithful to me and that is why I have every reason to rejoice and thank him." Daddy Owen added that the celebrations will include countrywide tours. "God has blessed me with immense opportunities that helped me to fully live-off my music. No one believed that one could live-off music, especially gospel, but I am a living testimony. I encourage other artistes to believe in themselves and they will make it in life. I am now investing in real estate and other businesses and I thank God." He has so far recorded two singles for his upcoming album.
