The Lord alone was guiding him, no foreign god was with him.” “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you how to succeed, who leads you in the way you should go.”—“Who is a teacher like him?” We live by faith, not by sight.—For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.—Dear friends, I urge you as foreigners and exiles to keep away from fleshly desires that do battle against the soul.—“But you are the ones who will be forced to leave!
