Daily Meditation - December 5, 2013 - Who can be against us? What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31 Apostle Paul questions as “Who stands against us?”. Yes, When God is with you no one can stand against you. When God is with you no one can separate you from him embracing hands. Any one who touches you, touches the apple of His eyes. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.(Isa 49:15-16). for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.(Zech 2:8). Therefore determine you’re self whether the Lord is in your side. God was with David and David was confident that the Lord was with him. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.(Ps 118:6-7). In all your situations and circumstances, always call upon the Lord then He will always remain with you. When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.(Ps 56:9). Whenever David called upon the Lord then and there God relived him from his difficulties and enemies. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.(Ps 18:3). He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.(Ps 91:15). Now you call upon the Lord and He will listen to you and help you. People of the world will challenge you but because the Lord is with you, don’t be afraid. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.(Ps 23:4). The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.(Ps 46:11). Beloved, be prepared at all times to receive the Lord, because the Lord God is willing to be with you always. On many occasions you do not realize that the Lord is with you and you move away from him due to your own anxiety, pains and sufferings. Even for slightest deviation or sufferings you shiver with fear. When you adhere to the commandments of the Lord, the Lord is always remain with you and you will also remain in Him. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Fathers commandments, and abide in his love.(Jn 15:10). When you obey God’s commandments your prayers are heard and you receive the answers. God meets all your needs. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.(Jn 15:7). When you listen to the word of God nothing can separate you from God. As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.(Rom 8:36-39). Children of God, today you are facing several challenges in your life, but these challenges are not for you. Believe it that they are known to God. To overcome these challenges you must be always in the Lord. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.(Isa 54:15). No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. - Isaiah 54:17 - Rev. Daniel Karthikeyan, The Firstborn ministries, Tamil Christian Radio
