Daily Meditation - October 15, 2013 - A spring of water. And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. - Isaiah 58:11 Today the Lord promises that you shall be like the perennial river. But the lakes and the ponds shall be filled with water only during monsoon only. During the summer season they will be dried up. But for you there is no seasonal change because the Lord God converts you in to the source of perennial blessings. Beloved in order to become springs of perennial waters you must drink the water of life. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.(Jn 4:14). Water that God provides you is an everlasting life. Therefore when you drink this water you become the source of everlasting life. This water indicates the Holy Spirit. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)(Jn 7:37-39). All of us living in this world wish to have happy and peaceful life. That’s why they attach them selves with worldly pleasures, but the pleasure they derive out of it vanishes like smoke. Instead the Joy and happiness which the Holy Spirit gives cannot be removed from you by any body. It remains with in you for ever. Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.(Jn 16:20-22). For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.(Rom 14:17). God is converting in to a spring that flows constantly therefore you are not like stagnant water. You must become the source of water that others can drink from you. God has anointed many people as perpetual springs. Because they are not useful to others they remain stagnant. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.(Isa 12:3). This spring emanates from your heart and proclaimed through your mouth. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.(Pro 4:23). The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.(Pro 10:11). When you filled with the word new springs of life will sprout from you. David was filled with the word of God and the commands of God that he always claimed that my heart always overflow with the blessings of God. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.(Ps 45:1). It is not enough to read the word of God, but you memorize in your heart. Then when you speak the word of God, many people will be benefited by it. Words that Jesus Christ spokes were filled with grace, authority, and blessing to the others. And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Josephs son?(Lk 4:22). And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.(Lk 4:36). Today how do you treat the word of God? Does it invoke faith in others? Does it encourage others or does it comfort others? The words of a mans mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.(Pro 18:4). A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed. – Song of Songs 4:12 - Rev. Daniel Karthikeyan
