Dakota Gasification Full-Time Nurse Wanted... Position Title: Nurse (Full-time) (one position) Department/Location: Medical Services / Human Resources Dakota Gasification Company / Beulah, ND Applicable Pay Rate: $25.00/hour Posting Date: October 16, 2013 Closing Date: October 31, 2013 Position Purpose/Job Function: This position assists the physician with various types of medical examinations; provide medical treatment and tests as required; and provide proper documentation of diagnoses, treatments, and examinations in a confidential manner. This position reports to the Medical Services Supervisor. Necessary Qualifications: This position must have successfully completed an accredited Nursing program (e.g. B.S. or RN), and have two years of clinical experience, preferably in an industrial or occupational medical setting. The incumbent must have a current unrestricted North Dakota nursing license and be willing to obtain a Wyoming nursing license. The incumbent must have or be willing to obtain a current certification in spirometry, audiometric testing, drug screen collection training, and limited permit holder radiology training. Familiarity with personal computer operation and knowledge of laboratory techniques is required. Typical Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands: Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching below shoulder level; use of keyboard/computer; and occasional stooping, bending, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, reaching above shoulder level, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds. Occasionally requires lifting or carrying up to up to 50 pounds. Requires good finger dexterity, ability to perform close work, good hearing and vision, and the ability to speak. Frequently may be exposed to fumes, chemicals, and noise and rarely exposed to extreme heat, cold, dirt, dust, and poor ventilation when in field conditions. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals. Equipment operated includes medical devices and equipment. Incumbent will work 40 hours per week, but may be required to work occasional extended hours, nights and weekends.
