Dan oncologist appt: Overwhelming amount of information... No staging yet, she just said advanced hodgkins lymphoma and scheduled more tests (bone marrow biopsy, PETCT, heart, lung). Her recommendation is that he do 6 months of chemo, possibly add radiation at some point. She also recommends that he take 6 months off of work because he will have 0 immunity at some points and fevers will send him to emergency room. She doesnt do complementary therapies to be proactive on immunity. I dont think anyone in Indiana does. Thinks there is 80% chance for first remission, 50% chance for cure.
