Dana and I traveled to Ithaca NY to meet Tammi, Jim and Teagan for Teagans orientation to Ithaca College. What a beautiful setting for a college. Very large campus set upon a very steep hill atop the city. Absolutely beautiful. Very modern buildings...beautiful fountains that light up at night with different colors...lots of steps and hills to climb (you should see the calves in my legs hehehe). Orientation was extremely well done, very interesting and informative. Teagans studies will be at the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, Occupational Therapy. Our ride out to Ithaca was really nice. We were on the road for about 7 hrs but the weather was wonderful...warm breezy with low humidity. Not so much for yesterdays weather. Rain, storms, wind hail ugh!!!! Took us 10 hrs on the road which included waiting in rest areas for the bulk of the storm to pass. Needless to say, we were so very happy to set foot in our home in Jefferson. But it was well worth it all. We had a wonderful time and gave us a better perspective of where our granddaughter Teagan will be spending her days.
