Danny Boy has to spend nights in the sand school with hay, as he has limited grass due to his laminitis and EMS (equine metabolic syndrome). All the other ponies went in with him at 7pm tonight. When I arrived home, they all wanted to come and welcome me home after my weekend away and followed me into the school. Robert and Felicity did a good job of looking after them all while I was away. Its a good job I remembered to let them all out just now before bed! Danny has an excellent routine now. He stays out at night, comes into the stable in the mornings and is now allowed 4-5hrs grass in the afternoons, and seems to be coping with that. He is still on his Hepalyte at £50 a bottle that lasts just 10 days. He also loves to eat fresh dandelions, and dandelion dried herbs (very good for detox) and milk thistle seeds, excellent for his liver.
