David Attenborough has weighed in, in small words, on the population debate. In an interview with Richard Glover this week, he speaks about the population estimate of 11,000,000,000 (Billion) people by 2100. He says that we use to just believe we could expand, but now we have so little precious land to give. I have always been a person who agrees with population targeting. I think we need a way to reduce birth rates, while somehow keeping our age brackets as they are (not so many old people). It is said that medicine is to blame. Without medicine, a large number of people will end their life in something around 50s-70s. With the ability to keep a person alive, it causes dependence on society. I am not saying stop medicating, I am just stating medicine prolongs life, and causes a creeping aging population.
