Day 1 of the road trip to Mudgee to watch Leah Percy play for Australia complete. The day in point form * chicken roles with a great system. Elies filling roles with chicken, Taylor Mason squirting mayo, Caitlyn Jeffers wrapping with cling wrap. * Christopher J. Katal is late, we pick him up, he takes the front seat and falls asleep 15 minutes in. * Classic music * trailer safely attached * rachs surprise visit to Mudgee ruined by snap chat * first stop only 2 hours in because of Tay. Not happy * only just make it to a petrol station with 10kms left in the tank * scary drive into cowra with plenty of hypotheticals flicking lights * truck drivers are scary * get to cowra and our accommodation is closed and no key left, Cal Parton & I running around empty cowra streets searching for help. * I walk into the only open pub and ask for help, invited by a old local to stay at his place the night as he is the most trusted person in cowra. Then found the imperial hotel chef who is on holidays. He helped us. * we are in bed and sorta comfy, Rach Davine is on the floor, cal sharing with the girls, chris has no pants, Taylor doesnt like the light of my phone on, rooms look nothing like the pictures but all in all a really good day 1. 😃
