Day 2 Cont: When we got back to the farm house Nancy and Veronica used a bit of emotional black mail (we as special visitors) to get Tommy to agree to get out of the house and join us for dinner. It took some coaxing but he eventually agreed and we all spent an excellent evening at the Allingham Arms hotel in Bundoran. You see, Tommys wife passed away two years ago and Tommy doesnt seem to have been out much since. Best of all it was Tommys suggestion that after dinner we all go off to his local at Tullaghan, The Dew Drop Inn. This was a wonderful result because (totally unplanned) there was a parade of Tommys mates who kept chatting to him constantly throughout the evening. Bill and I made a feeble attempt to play darts. I think we were just a bit tired. Thankfully Nancys Derek played shuttle bus and got us all home without any external injuries. Day two complete; and a good time had by all (so they tell me).
