Day 2 on my walk through 70 years of thanksgiving. Today I want to honor the one who seldom gets the deserved recognition. This person is always present with me. Sometimes I may even wish this person would go away. I cant see this person, but I know the presence. I often find myself in a position where I cannot find the answer to lifes questions. This person knows the answer to my prayers even before I pray them. The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is an equal part of God and Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is my conviction, my comforter, my conscience, my guide, my personal image of God living in me. I am glad to know the Holy Spirit is reading this post as I share it. The Holy Spirit is as real a part of me as my flesh and bones. The Holy Spirit is the servants heart in me. The Holy Spirit is the voice that speaks the truths of God and Jesus through me. The Holy Spirit is my constant reason for living anything that resembles the work of God and Jesus in my life. Today is before me. I am confident the Holy Spirit has the plan I am to live out today. And, I am confident the Holy Spirit will speak to my spirit each step of the way to lead me in the way I should go. Will I follow the Holy Spirits leading? That is my choice. I pray my choices will reflect the Holy Spirits leading.
