Day 21 Blessed Mother Teresa In the Mass of the Sacred Heart, we read “I looked for one that would grieve with me and there was none; I sought one that would console me, and I found none.” We must be the “one”. “Be the one to share with Him, to comfort Him, to console Him. Let us ask Our Lady to help us understand.” Mary is the spouse of the Consoler – the Holy Spirit. Through Mary, the Holy Spirit will help us to understand what it means to be a consoler of the Heart of Jesus. We need to console Jesus through our joys, and Mary joys. We must ask Our Lady to give us her heart. We also need to console Jesus in members of his body by recognizing their thirst for God. We must respond to their suffering, their loneliness, and poverty of all kinds.
