Day 4 of my 5 day gratitude challenge... My job. I am so grateful to be employed by the state of New York for the last 24 years... It has been a lot of highs & lows for sure! But everyday I take care of people I have a relationship with & it that is the best part if my job... So many memories, so many highs & lows... To stand by someones bed when they take their last breathe is a honor... And the people Ive worked with... Wow! The stories we can tell! So many people I can call my friends! Weve worked side by side for a long time & there is a true bond! As an aside, dont get me wrong, this system sucks & has continued to get worse especially the last few years... And I am especially grateful to retire at 55 with 30 years... Im out! Suck it!! Lol!!!!
