Day three of my treck into the wilderness known as the yard, break time. I began my day being awakened by one of the indoor creatures of the realm just before 5am, after a delicious cuppa joe I proceeded on to some tidying of the base camp & seeing to the comfort of the indoor creatures, feeling confident their needs were sufficiently met I venture outside. Much to my dismay things hadnt been tidied as they should have been on last years final visit to the wilderness. Long tangled vines (AKA the hose) impeded my entrance into the cramped quarters (the shed) in the wilderness, I was successful in hacking away at the vines & was able to attach them by myself to a water supply (faucet). Much to my delight the waterfall (fountain) once cleaned & reassembled was flowing freely & I anticipated watching the outdoor creatures of the realm enjoying the fruits of my labors. Alas my joy was short lived as the waterfall seems to have been place over a sink hole (leak) the water continues to disappear. Now that my energy reserves have been topped off with an apple & peanut butter I must return machete in hand to the extremely neglected wilderness as the villagers will be coming by in a few days to collect the waste products I am harvesting from said wilderness. I am praying for rain tomorrow so that my body will have time for some much needed rest, to be continued...
