Dean Lohman, thank you for sending me a friend request. Obviously youre all grown up, the last time I remember seeing you, you were about waist high to your dad. Speaking of your dad, he was without a doubt the most brilliant person I have ever known in my life and I have missed him every single day since his passing he and I were very close friends. Like yourself my father died when I was young, 13 years young to be exact. Shortly thereafter there were a few guys in Seward, where we both grew up that took me under their wing. Emmett, and Dell Hill, and your father I learned volumes of knowledge from Dell and Emmett they were both extremely smart and very good teachers. On the other hand what I learned from my dear friend Russell Lohman was, if I could dream it, or see it in my mind I could make it happen. Absolutely nothing was impossible if you put your mind to it, and your nose to the grind stone. Russell took me on my very first adventure at sea, on the barge I helped him and Don Ennes refit, the Togiak. I dont know if you are aware of the fact that I am now writing childrens stories. In my opinion and in the opinion of many others they are quite charming. I intend to write a childrens story about my first adventure at sea with your father. He was a huge inspiration in my life and I believe I can pass on the inspiration your father was to me to other children.
