Dear All. I was so disturbed due to the political situation in Tamilnadu since yesterday. Let me say PERIOD, I do not belong to any political party and I am not involved in politics. But the way some people took advantage of the situation to take law into their hands and disturbed the equilibrium of public life is painful. Why a common citizen should be in the receiving end? Whos property who is demolishing? These are all the taxpayers properties, our properties. This sends a message to the genuine tax payer to think twice to pay his tax honestly. Who is at loss? Even when a iconic person is dead, the anti social activities happen. Can not the leaders preach the cader to maintain peace in these sort of situations? Can not be a law seriously implemented, and executed? I failed to be in the celebration of my good friend Unni Menons 30 year completion celebration to day in Palakkad. Painful. My apologies to Mr. Menon for my absence. My son was driving down to Chennai from Coimbatore. Had to stay back in Salem for the night to avoid any unwanted situation. My Daughter, Son in law and their two kids who were on their way to Thekkady from Coimbatore had to under go hell a lot of trauma to reach their destination. Many should have suffered like this. Civilization? where is it? In the way we dress? In the swanky cars we travel? No Sir. If you can not consider the discomfort we cause to our brothers and sisters, we can never call ourselves civilized. Celebration or expressing grief should be done in a exemplary manner. I am sorry to express myself like this. Our elected leaders should lead us in the right path. I once again ascertain that I belong to common mans party, not to any political party. God bless DEMOCRACY.
