Dear Applicant: This email is to inform you of the status of your application to the nursing program for the spring 2014 semester with advanced standing into NUR 1520. Your application for admission to the nursing program for the spring 2014 semester has been received. I am sure you are anxious to be informed regarding your nursing admission status. Admission of students into the spring semester will occur after fall final exams and grade submission on or after December 20, 2013. The nursing program will not know how many students will be able to be admitted into the spring semester until it is known how many students will or will not be progressing to the spring semester. You should also be aware that the number of applications for the spring semester is unusually high this year. It is unlikely that the nursing program will be able to accommodate all of the students who have applied for advanced standing into the spring semester. Any students who have previously been admitted to the nursing program will be required to complete a skills re-demonstration. Admission to nursing will be granted contingent upon successful re-demonstration of skills. Skills re-demonstrations will be scheduled after January 1, 2014 and before the start of the semester.
