Dear Brothers of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. It is with immense pleasure that I write you this letter. As you know, I take great pride in being the Head Coach for the Springfield Longhorns Unlimited Division. On November 17, 2013, my team of inner city youth won the POP Warner Central Massachusetts Football Championship. As a result of their great sportsmanship and teamwork, we will celebrate our fourth consecutive Championship. Our children played throughout the state representing our City of Springfield. Their hard work and efforts are certainly something that we all can be proud of. The purpose of this letter is to respectfully ask for a donation to the Springfield Longhorns Unlimited Division. Any funds received would be used to assist with the financing of the banquet, including the dinner and trophies. Any generous contribution you are able to make to our youth would be greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible. In addition to a tax benefit, you will be helping us defray the cost of the banquet. The Championship Banquet will be on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Melha Shriners Banquet Hall on 133 Longhill Street, Springfield, MA 01108.
