Dear Cecil Times readers: We have been without an Internet connection in dear old middle of nowhere Earleville since Tuesday morning. So we are camped out at the Cecilton library to use their wifi and post here and on the website. So thats why we were belated in posting our report on the latest in the Pearce Creek dump saga and in posting readers comments on the website. If youve sent us an email, we may take a while to catch up. Wavevision (previously Bay Broadband) which serves rural areas via radiowave technology, cannot tell us when-- or if-- our Internet service will return. So despite misgivings about Comcast (due to past issues with their analog cable TV services in southern Cecil) we are considering going to their new Xfinity Internet services which were recently extended, in part, in the area. So, my Earleville and Cecilton-area peeps, if you have switched to Xfinity for Internet services lately, can you comment on speed, reliability, customer service, and costs? (Not looking for a bundle, just Internet) Thanks in advance for any comments...
