Dear Facebook family, as you may have already seen I have been hired at Harlan High School. I will be teaching quite the gamut of classes and grade levels (6th grade English, 8th grade Speech, High School Advanced Reading, and High School Drama). Though this is EXTREMELY exciting, there are some logistical difficulties that can add to the stress that may inhibit academic excellence in my class. First and foremost is a lack of significantly rigorous and grade appropriate book-sets in my classrooms. The other is a lacking of general classroom materials. So, I am humbly asking for help and a bit of an urgent request at that. A limited budget + a limited school budget requires the aid of others.
