Dear Friends Below email from the President of Canterbury Malaysian Society Incorporated (CMSI) refers. The Malaysian high Commission will be visiting Christchurch to provide consular services (refer below for list of services), issues and etc. Since today 9 July is the start of Ramadan month, a Buka Puasa / Break Fast celebration with the High Commissioner, Counsellor and fellow Malaysian regardless of races living in and around Christchurch has been organised. CMSI will provide several main dishes but due to limited funding they would appreciate when possible to bring along a dish or two with you. In respect to fellow Muslim during the Ramadan month non-pork dishes for Pot Luck would very much be appreciated. Following are detail of the event for your reference: Consular Assistance/Services : (Christchurch) Date : 20th July 2013 Time : 3.30pm – 7.00pm Venue : Middleton Grange Hall Middleton Grange School 50 Acacia Avenue, Upper Riccarton (Entrance Via 50 Acacia Ave) Buka Puasa / Break Fast : 5.30pm Following is a list of consular services to be provided by the High Commission of Malaysia : 1) Malaysian passport application/renewal; 2) Malaysian birth/marriage registration; 3) Translation / Certification of Malaysian documents; 4) Emergency Certificate; 5) Renunciation of citizenship; and 6) Certification of Good Conduct (Online).
