Dear Friends, I just want to share some info about my project. So, I start all that because I really fell in love with Pripyat and I love what I do. I want to sell photoprints of my panoramas one day and I realy hope that this is going to work. I did not print anything yet, but I hope that it will be impressive when printed in big size. Pripyat is so big with so many interesting stuff there, that even a month probably not enough for me to explore it. I want to concentrate all my attention on this beautiful town and create massive and complete serie of panoramas from there. To shoot photographs for each panorama I need to spend 10-45 minutes (depends of the light conditions) so I can not shoot too much material for panoramas in one day. I already spent 16 days there and I have material for 400 panoramas from famous and out of the way parts of Pripyat. And I want to come back because I feel that my collection is not complete! The most difficult part of my work is postprocessing. It may take from several days to a month! to stitch and process panorama. Waiting for a call took me a month! Difficulty is that panoramas are big files and Im working carefully on not even a traces of stitches stay visible in 100% magnification. Exteriors work is most difficult because even slight wind moving branches of trees and bushes and when different shots stitched - traces appears and I need to hide them. I even may say that I will not be able to stitch some panoramas because of windy weather... Also I blend different exposures manually (iHDR) and it is taking lots of time too... ...So if to take one week as average process time for each panorama - I need almost 2 years of non-stop work to create 100 panoramas. It may turn into work of the decade! I hope it will have sense and someone will be interested in what I do. I will share more info later somehow about how I shoot and process my panoramas, details, printing, etc... Thank you for following me! Stay in touch and Good Luck to you all!
