Dear Friends, Our Regional Director of Business Development has concluded that it would be wise to delay the Grand Opening/Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of our Teen Challenge Super Thrift Store to a future date within this month of August. The reasoning behind this decision is, in order for us to have a successful grand opening, we need more time to ensure two things: 1. The infrastructure of this business, and the systems within it, are streamlined and well-rehearsed for customers to have a pleasurable experience. Moreover, for the staff to feel absolutely confident in operating in them. 2. We need a greater ratio of clothes to other donated items. With much success, we are continuing to conduct clothing drives that are needed for our initial inventory, and will also supply an ongoing amount to replenish, once the initial inventory is sold. We will keep you closely posted on the specific opening date within this month, and as to whether we decide to have a soft opening, one week prior to the new ribbon-cutting date. Thank you to all for your time, talent, & treasure towards this venture. We would not have come this far without you! God has been so incredibly faithful, and we believe He will continue to do great things going forward !!!
