Dear Friends of DIAMOND JAZZ: Great news – after a brief summer hiatus, DIAMOND JAZZ is back. And even greater news – our next gig will be at the hot, classy, and beautiful new Marin supper club – Fenix Restaurant, at 919 4th Street in downtown San Rafael. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the club, here’s an excerpt from their website: Fenix, the new Marin county premier live music spot and restaurant, is the vision of Laura van Galen, a third generation San Franciscan and current resident of Marin. Named for the sweeping bird that the historical space architecturally describes, the Fenix will showcase local and national musicians in a vibrant, intimate club atmosphere. We’re contacting you now to give you early notice of our spot at Fenix so you can SAVE THE DATE! We’ll be performing the brunch show on Sunday, November 10, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (check out the great brunch menu, attached).
