Dear Laura All of the boys in the COUNTRY arent worth even a single tear from your beautiful eyes. Scumbags like it (I refuse to use the word him to describe the guy. It is good enough for that little shit) truly have no future, and you are are simply far too high above it to let it ruin your life. You did nothing wrong, and you have not tarnished yourself in any of our eyes. Even if mum and dad judge you for anything, I never will; and Ive never been more truthful about anything else in my life. I know all this really has nothing to do with me, but I simply cannot function as a normal human being knowing that all this is happening to you right now, and Im hoping that writing this will at least relieve some of this tension so that I can go on being the funny, borderline-insane sister you can count on. I just want to tell you that all this pain of yours will one day become strength, but you need to stay focused and not let the pain turn into weakness instead. It happens to people every single day: we get knocked down, sometimes we stay down for a little while in order to heal, but we always get back up eventually. Some sooner and some later. We all go through tumultuous times in our lives, but like a certain song goes: At the end of the storm is a golden sky / And the sweet, silver song of a lark.
