Dear Legacy Patriots, As the 2014 year comes to a close, I would like to say thank you for being supportive and involved. It has been another great first half of the school year, and I look forward to the excitement that will come for the second half of the year. I can’t wait to see grade level music concerts, the spelling bee, science fair, geography bee, Resolution Run, the Suessical musical, winter and spring sports, and many more fun activities! There are some changes taking place for our 2015-2016 school year that I think you will be VERY happy to hear about! We will be going from 6 grading periods to 4 quarters. This will allow students 3 extra weeks to help with academic success each quarter. Students will go from 6 poems and book reports to 4 poems and book reports with more weeks to complete these long term assignments. We will continue with a similar schedule as this school year with a week and two days off for fall and spring break. The calendar will be available for next school year in early January to help you start preparing. Our first day of school will be on Thursday, July 30, 2015. Our before and after school program will continue and our commitment to providing a quality, back to basics and positive school environment remains strong. Please let your friends now that NOW is the time to enroll in our school. The Ironwood Crossing community is growing and sometime in the near future, we will be at capacity!! I look forward to seeing you all again on January 5, 2015! Sincerely, Mrs. Wilson
