Farmers have not yet been empowered with being able to separate the kernel from the husk using the latest technology. 3. Most of them are ruled over by their hacienderos who believe keeping them poor is the best practice. (Hacienda Luicita, anyone?) No, Sir. Please analyze your statement carefully against the claims youve made. If you dont remember let me remind you that the Philippines was already ahead of all Asian countrys with farming technology back in the 60s. When the Oligarchs took over, all other countries began to surpass us. And oh, why is rice smuggling still such a big and unchecked issue?
