Dear Mr. Rey, I would like to inform you now that I was sent - TopicsExpress

Dear Mr. Rey, I would like to inform you now that I was sent several ‘records’ that were supposed to show the records from Okeechobee were destroyed. However, I have found out for some time now they were #1 bogus copies of ‘order of destruction permission request. @#2 What I was sent were not legal in that none of the ‘request’ were ever completed. These are documents that I consider to misrepresent the truth. I also think they were purposely sent to me. We are considering moving this into the Federal Courts in 2015. The fact is Ms. Ward of the DJJ sent me records that were misleading and fraudulent. I hope you can speak to Mr. Berkowitz and Ms. Ward and get to the bottom of why these particular things were sent to me via snail mail along with a note berating me for my asking and my general approach. In our conversation you stated that our Archives Division did not have the records you were seeking concerning the Okeechobee school for boys, and they were sending you a letter to that effect. Please keep me informed on any developments in this matter. Regards, Carlos A. Rey Assistant General Counsel Florida Department of State R.A. Gray Building 500 S.
