Dear Parents, We hope everyone had a wonderful and restful summer. The staff of the catechism school would like to thank you for bringing your children to St. Nicholas. We take great pride in teaching your children the importance of being an Orthodox Christian and we hope that they enjoy being with us. This year classes will begin on September 8th. In order to avoid unnecessary delays, we kindly ask all the parents of our Sunday School to please come and register their children on Tuesday September 3rd at 6:30 pm during the Youth registration dinner or on Sunday September 8th the latest. This year some changes are going to take place. Classes will begin immediately after Holy Communion. The lesson in the classroom is 45 minutes long. You will be receiving a schedule of classes and events for the school year. Please put this in a safe place so that you may be aware of when classes are and are not in session. We are also asking your cooperation in regard to attendance and behavior. Your child depends upon you to bring him or her to church. We also ask you to remind your children of proper behavior and respect due to the church, its facilities and fellow parishioners. The children are the future of the church. Join with us in making an investment in our future and setting religious values and education as a priority for the new school year. We look forward to another great year at Sunday school!
