Dear Rosemount Community, Starting today and going through next Saturday the athletes listed below will be going off to state! Senior Jaayson Meyer was selected as the PI league MVP for 2013-14 adaptive athletic program in Soccer / Hockey / Softball. Congratulations Jaayson! Both PI and CI softball play in the state tourney starting this evening. In Girls’ Track and Field, Rachel Schow will compete at the state in the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles. In addition the girls 4x100 relay comprised of Marissa Knott, Rachel Schow, Josie French, Kailey Askew will be competing Friday and Saturday at Hamline University! Good luck! On the Boys’ side of Track and Field the following qualified for state: Payton Otterdahl – shot put & discus Alex Berhe – 3200 Gavin Rudoll – Long Jump, 4X100 Zach Zweber – Triple jump Grant Jackson – 100, 200, 4X100 Tray Ashby-Phan – 4X100 Jordon Herbranson – 4X100 Sam Ivaneckey – 4X800, 4X400 Sam Karlson – 4X800 Aaron Elizondo – 4X800, 4X400 Luke Anderson – 4X800 Josiah Mann – 4X400 Treighton French – 4X400 13 athletes in 10 events total qualified for the Irish! In addition, the boys team won the Section 3AA Championship! Because of this success and quality coaching our Head Coach, Jay Hatleli, was named Section 3AA Coach of the Year!
