Dear all, I am very glad to inform you that Hon Vice Chancellor Dr.Arun Jamkar invited me to MUHS, Nashik for delivering a lecture on Prevention of obesity and diabetes on 14th November 2014. The senate hall of MUHS was fully packed! Hon VC sir, Pro VC Dr.Rajderkar, Registrar Dr.Garkal, COE Dr.Chavan, Accounts officer Shri Kalaskar and PRO Shri Swapnil Torne all attended the lecture. In the lecture I got an opportunity to propagate my campaign of Eating twice a day to lose weight and prevent diabetes! More fascinating was the fact that 75 employees including many officers consented to participate in the self controlled community trial to see the effect of eating frequency on weight loss. The participants were enrolled for the study and their baseline investigations were done. We are planning 6 months follow up. Every month weight, waist circumference and hip circumference will be measured. I am really grateful to Dr.Jamkar sir for this initiative!!
