Dear all my beloved Cambodian young generation! Please work hard and smart because you are the bamboo-shoot of the nation as well as future leaders to make Cambodia better, brighter and also to build a stronger Khmer society. Yes, You All Can! Today is not Yesterday! “It’s not about the movie or fairy-tale, but it is the reality” 30-year ago, I went through the tough with bitter life in society. Let me just share some of main issues I struggled with as followings: - I want to go to school for education, but they want to send me to army training camp. - I want to carry book and pen for study, but they want me to carry gun to fight at battle field. - I want to learn western languages such as English, but they don’t permit if they can find out they catch and put in the jail. At that time was very limited door of opportunities not just only basic freedom/rights but also education. However, these barriers cannot stop me from growing as Today I am the: - Soft-skills trainer/mentor - Staff of the United Nations (UN) - Social contributor/social activist & - Husband and father of beautiful daughter Day-to-day, I always keep ears and eyes open on capacity building and look more opportunities to growth for myself, my family and my society prosperous.
