Dear colleague of Hangey kalimati mandir (Sengyegang), My dear - TopicsExpress

Dear colleague of Hangey kalimati mandir (Sengyegang), My dear brothers and sisters of Hangey Kalimati Hari Har Mandir. It’s a great pleasure for me to inform that the mandir committee with the help and support of the fellow friends of this locality have decided to perform the most virtuous yagya i.e. the Shrimad Bhagat Maha Puran from 22nd December to 28th December, 2013 here at Hari Har Mandir, Hangey, Kalimati (Sengyegang ,Tashichholing). Hari Har Mandir has remained an important place of worship for our community for last over 60 years. Many religious ceremonies have been conducted on the courtyard of the temple and many more marriages have been made possible here. In line to this, the Temple has been renovated recently to accommodate more devotees in the temple during any hindus ceremonies. There has been a major development in regard to the space availability, meaning we have enough space for performing any yagya. The needy renovation work has been made possible only because of the generous contribution made by CSO Thimphu & and the humble contributions by our brothers and sisters. After the major renovation & land management is completed our Hari Har Mandir will become an iconic temple in Bhutan. It will be one of the holy and religious places in Samtse Dzongkhag. Further, because of the location, the temple’s sanctity, we are confident that the people of all ages and from every walk of life would frequent their visits and would prefer to relax and meditate under the shadow of the mandir for hours together. During the Yagna different books of Hindu holy Texts like Srhimad Maha Puran, Rudhri Path, Sapta Sati Path, Bedas Path and many more will be recited by learned swamijis and giurujis. The main objective of the Yagna is to seek blessing from Almighty for the long life of our King, our Queen, our members of Royal Families, peace and prosperity in the country, well being of all the Bhutanese people and also for the well being of our neighbours across the border. Further, we will also pray for the eternal peace for the soul of those who untimely lost their lives due to un-predicted attacks from the wild elephants for past so many years. Since the temple is old we need to replace some of the Statues/Shiv Linga/ Gajur. For the purpose the donation received from the CSO and the contribution from the devotees will not be enough to buy all of them. Therefore, the committee would like to humbly request every devotee to contribute, whatever amount possible, for purchase of the Statues/Shiv Linga/ Gajur. Those interested to donate for this noble cause may deposit to the Hari Har Mandir Account No 20700642608640013 maintained with BOBL, Sipsu under intimation to the committee. Lastly we request very Bhutanese and our neighbours from India to attend the Yagna, get blessing from the learned swamijis, take the holy prashad, pray for the long life of our King, Queen, the members of royal families and for the peace and prosperity of our county and make this Yagna success. May the Almighty Bless all of us. Thanking you, Hari Har Mandir Hangay, Kalimati, Sipsoo Samtse. For any immediate queries please contact Mr.B.P.Dhal 17115585 (Chairman) puran committee.
