Dear foolish, foolish small car drivers on the interstate, As I pulled alongside you on the interstate today, it was obvious that what went through your tiny brain was Id better hurry and squeeze in front of this truck hauling a horse trailer because Im sure itll slow me down. Oh foolish small car driver...I do not drive near the speed limit and maintain at least a three second following distance because I am slow. In truth, this American made diesel could blow the doors off that lawnmower you are driving. while pulling this horse trailer. uphill. in the rain. I do not maintain that distance just for you to dart into on a whim in all your self-centered stupidity. I maintain that distance because I carry a most precious cargo: my child, who sleeps trustingly in the passenger seat because he was up at 3a.m. in pursuit of his dream. And behind my child, in that horse trailer, is my childs very best friend who worked like a champ all day today to help his boy live his dream and who is obviously MUCH more intelligent than you are as he knows when hes too close to be safe and might get kicked. So foolish small car driver, grow a brain. Think about someone other than yourself for a change while you talk on the phone and dart into places you cant safely be.
