Dear friends, In order to prepare and train for the VIMUN, the Vienna MUN Club organizes a UN Security Council Simulation taking place from 19th to 21st of July. People who are not partaking at VIMUN in August are still cordially welcome to participate! The event will take place in the building of the Law Faculty of the University of Vienna (a.k.a Juridicum: Schottenbastei 10-16, 1010 Vienna) and will start at Friday afternoon and end on Sunday in the early afternoon. The topic of the simulation will be the ongoing civil war in Syria. Here is a rough schedule for your orientation: On Friday we will meet in front of Juridicum at 14:00 sharp. Friday 14:00 -18:00 with a coffee break at 17:00 Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 with a Lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00 and coffee break at 16:30. Sunday 10:00 to 14:00 coffee break at 12 We would collect a small 3 € contribution towards expenses from every participant that go towards making copies, buying small snacks for everyone and the likes. The following countries will be availabe: Australia, Azerbaijan, Brasil, China, France, Germany, Guatemala, Morocco, Pakistan, Russia, Rwanda, Lebanon, Togo, United States, United Kingdom.
