Dear friends, The animals are going to need you in the days ahead. It is with a heavy heart that we again are forced to publicly expose the cruelty that has befallen animals in the live export trade. While nobody likes to see animals treated cruelly, there are some in this world who will turn a blind eye to their suffering when there is money involved. What gives us hope is knowing that you care. And because you care, and because you have been a relentless voice for these animals, together we have been able to expose the truth; force change; and bring animals ever closer to a day when live export cruelty is a matter only for the history books. We want to warn you that in the coming days you may see some confronting stories come through the Animals Australia Facebook feed. We do not want to upset you. We know you already care deeply. But we do — desperately — need your help to get the truth about live export out to those who have the power to stop this cruelty. When you see what these animals have suffered, we know you will want to expose it too. If you are particularly sensitive to visual material or do not want to read these stories, please hide our feed for the next week, and visit AnimalsAustralia.org (where you can choose to take action without seeing confronting images).
