Dear neighborhood children, Heres the menu for tonight in the order which it will be served. Important: all foods are snack size. Sorry. But have you guys seen how much they charge nowadays for regular candy bars? Sheesh. Used to be 25 cents each when I was a kid. Anyway ... the menu is as follows: 1) Twizzlers and Jolly Ranchers mix. These are the chewy-style Jolly Ranchers, not the hard candy. Theyll be served in either watermelon or apple flavors, and you wont be able to choose. (That just slows the line down unnecessarily. Please collect your candy and move along.) The Twizzlers will come in either cherry or strawberry and, again, no choosing. We have more than 100 of these sugary treats, so we dont recommend trying to wait it out for the chocolate. Lights will be turned off before 9 pm for sure. 2) Hersheys mix This will include traditional Hersheys chocolate and/or cookies & cream-flavored Hersheys. Again, no choosing. Really sorry. If we get enough foot traffic that we run out of these, too, the next item on the menu will be... 3) Kit-Kat These will come in either traditional chocolate or a strange hybrid version thats orange-colored but white-chocolate flavored, whatever that means. They appear to be a mistake at the factory. Still, Kit-Kats! 4) Reeses If we run out of everything above, and if I havent polished these off on my own, we will serve the magnificent Reeses. These will be either traditional or pumpkin-shaped, although frankly they dont look very much like a pumpkin to me. Still, Reeses!!!! We look forward to seeing you tonight!
