As an apostolic (and mainly traveling) ministry, we at BALD EAGLE MINISTRIES mostly get sent ahead to go forth and break fallow ground, by means of prophetic intercession, prophetic actions, prophetic declarations and proclamations. The Shofar or Rams Horn is our instrument of prophetic intercession. We are summoned and incited to sound the call to repentance, the call to sanctification and the call to holiness throughout the nations. Sound is our weapon of spiritual warfare. (Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places -KJV) Because it is our instrument of prophetic action, we specifically teach on the modern day significance of the Shofar (Rams Horn). After returning from our recent mission to Madagascar (see feedback report on our website), I strongly sensed that I should do a 40 day Daniel Fast for the 40 days leading up to the Feast of Trumpets (24-26 September 2014) This was also confirmed with calls from brothers and sisters within the Body of Christ, whom I have not seen or heard from for a long time. I knew then, that what we will need to do, had specific reference to the upcoming Feast of Trumpets and the prophetic timeline of God. We have been invited to Jerusalem to sound the shofar in the city of Jerusalem and to pray and do prophetic intercession in and around city, as well as other parts of Israel. We have been invited by Jessie Zacharias. Jessie is a full-time intercessor that was previously based in Jerusalem for 12 years, before returning to South Africa during 2012. Jessie is now back in Jerusalem since July 2014. After prayer and receiving confirmation that we should go, we accepted the invitation in faith. Subsequently we have booked our flights in faith (through our travel consultant, Maria Nel of Giltedge Travel. (Tel: +27 21 9132667 Fax: 086 669 8280 Cell: +27 82 9250144) and are leaving Johannesburg for Israel on Monday, 22 September 2014 and return again on 3 October 2014. I also strongly sensed that during this time in Israel I should professionally video-record and put to DVD some of our testimonies and some of the topics of my teachings. The focus of the teachings are on the modern day role of watchmen and gatekeepers with specific reference to the modern day significance of the ram’s horn/shofar. Throughout the years of ministry and missions we have come to know and proclaim that the Lord is faithful to provide in all the needs of the ministry, whether it be for prayer support and intercession, for logistical or financial support. We know that the Lord has already placed it upon the hearts of those who need to be a part of this mission, in whichever way or another.
