Death, it is the last part of life. As I look forward to seeing my family, especially with my Dad not himself for months now........Tragedy strikes, in ironic fashion. As most know, I share time in states. Yesterday, in Jersey, my longtime close friend and all but second Father and his lovely wife Bev, were hit by a semi. They were taken to local hospital, airlifted to Camden Trauma Unit. Bev suffered broken pelvis, back damage, and facial cuts. Skeete held on for four hours, but lost his life around 2:30 pm. Many of you have met him at one point or another, and this one hurts. He would introduce me as his Stephson, and no one ever got it. She will supposedly, make a full physical recovery. Her sister, (aunt) Marilyn, was not with them. Life is short, and precious. Sometimes a wicked reality check, slaps the shit out of you to let you know that. Fair? nope, just life, the last part. Rest in peace, my my old friend, thanks for 18 years.
