Dec 24 2014 -- 5:12AM -- NWS Green Bay, WI -- Hazardous travel conditions are expected across portions of the region this morning. Across the far north, areas of freezing drizzle will continue this morning, creating slick spots on area roads through mid-morning. Across the Fox Valley, areas of dense fog will reduce visibilities to a quarter of a mile or less for the early morning commute to work. Conditions across the Fox Valley should also improve by mid-morning. A storm moving across lower Michigan today into tonight will bring a chance of rain and snow to eastern Wisconsin this afternoon into this evening. It appears that the mild weather will come to an end this weekend into next week, with much below normal temperatures expected for the New Year.
