December Atlanta Workshop 20-21 December 2014 $60 (includes both days) Northern Shaolin Form No. 4 – (Chun Sam) Heart Piercing Strikes To strike forcibly and resist durably. This training workshop will focus on the powerful penetrating strikes in and of the Northern Shaolim Red Iron Sand Palm and Small Golden Bell resistance geometries. The punching and kicking techniques that comprise this form of practice are aimed at demolishing the enemy center of mass immediately in a single striking sequence. The workshops objective is to develop a students ability to generate explosive power and the essences of manifesting an irresistible force. Techniques are simplistic, however difficult to deliver well. Performing this set in a flowery fashion demeans the form. Ones real abilities can be judged via this form since It is not very forgiving for flaws in basics. This workshop will focus on applications of striking, seizing, kicking, take downs and throws which arise from the basics that comprise the roots of Bak Siu Lum. We will touch on chi gong’s (breath work), energetic dynamics and related theories on conditioning, stance, Herbs & Medicines and much more! Martial Arts Master Kisu has been a dedicated practitioner of Bak Su Lim (Traditional Northern Shaolin) for over 35 years a dedicated disciple of the same master teacher. His extensive martial arts knowledge has been an integral part of numerous award-winning global brands including Avatar: The last Airbender and Avatar: the Legend of Korra.
