Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) is a public sector/private sector collaboration between the Department of Defence and Manpower Services (Australia) to provide an integrated recruitment organisation for the Australian Defence Force (ADF). DFR is a composite organisation comprising Navy, Army and Air Force, Australian Public Service, and Manpower Services (Australia) personnel. DFR’s mission is ‘as a key component of the ADF Recruiting System, the DFR Mission is to recruit the right people, in the right numbers and at the right time by focusing on the needs of the ADF and our candidates’.
