Definitely read the articles attached to this image. Modern day slavery is dependent on continually creating more laws and regulations that criminalize more and more behavior so that corporations such as McDonalds, IBM, Boeing, Dell, Kmart, and the military industrial complex can have cheap labor of approximately 90 cents to 5 dollars A DAY per incarcerated person. This is all beside the fact that taxpayers are also now a facet of the same economic system dependent on tax funds that amount to roughly a third, very possibly more, of a persons yearly income to subsidize many of the same companies benefiting from the prison labor system. Still think this is a free market? Should we really be listening to the talking heads who demonize this system by calling it capitalistic and too free? If this system is not efficient or conducive to human health and liberty, why should we give the same talking heads even more power to regulate us even more? CPL
